Ash Class
Teachers: Mrs Wells (Mon - Wed) and Miss Morris (Thur - Fri)
PE Day for Autumn 2025 is Monday.
Ash Class
Welcome to Ash Class!
A very warm welcome to all our new Reception families! We are so excited to begin this special journey with you and your child. Reception is such a wonderful year filled with curiosity, discovery, and lots of new experiences, and we can’t wait to share it all with you!
Our Topic This Half Term
This half term our topic is Bears! We’ll be enjoying stories, activities, and learning adventures inspired by bears, sparking the children’s imagination and building their knowledge in fun and engaging ways.
PE Days
Our PE day is Monday. On this day, please send your child to school already dressed in their PE kit, with suitable footwear for running and playing. For safety, we ask that earrings are removed before school and that all long hair is tied up.
Reading TogetherOne of the most important ways you can support your child is by reading together at home. Please try to read with your child every evening and make a note of it in their reading record. These will be checked each Monday. Regular reading makes such a difference to children’s progress – and it’s also a lovely way to spend time together.
We are really looking forward to getting to know you and your child better and to making this year in Ash Class a happy, exciting and memorable one.
